Aftershock is an ultra-concentrated, waterless formula that features the powerful absorption qualities of bentonite clay together with gentle kaolin clay to effectively expand facial pores. Packed with waterless active ingredients, this dry masque is activated with liquid to ensure maximum potency of active components.

How To Use: 

1-2 times per week, mix equal parts dry powder with liquid of choice and stir with stainless steel/wood/ceramic spoon until a paste forms. Allow product to activate for 2 minutes before application. If mixture is too dry, add more liquid; if too thin, add more powder. Apply to face and neck using a brush or fingertips, avoiding eye area, and relax for 10-20 minutes. Mist with water or hydrosol to keep masque from drying if desired. Rinse gently with water and follow with serum and/or moisturizer. May cause temporary redness. If desired, add drops of oil or serum for a double-duty application.

LICORICE ROOT EXTRACT A strong adaptogenic plant extract that has balancing and skin-soothing properties. It inhibits the production of melanin in the skin, helping to reduce discoloration.

L-ASCORBIC ACID - VITAMIN C A potent antioxidant and dramatic brightener, vitamin C helps to fade discolorations. It improves the appearance of textured skin and firmness. Because it begins to oxidize almost immediately after activation with water, we use it only in powdered form and package it in protective violet glass to maintain its integrity until you mix it for each use.

BENTONITE CLAY When bentonite is exposed to water, it attracts positively charged surfaces in water to its negative face by electrostatic attraction forces. This phenomenon enables the bentonite to absorb seven to 10 times its weight and swell up to 18 times its original volume to open up pores.
