Water kefir is a fermented beverage, like kombucha, loaded with probiotics and other healthy bacteria. Water kefir is fermented with a simple sugar-water solution, but can also be made with coconut water. This kid can also be used to ferment milk kefir, however the grains included are for water kefir only.
